Overview:

  • Active Ingredient: 47.17% w/w diafenthiuron in a Suspension Concentrate (SC) formulation

  • Mode of Action: Functions as both contact and stomach poison. It also has ovicidal (egg-killing) properties and is translaminar, meaning it penetrates through the leaf to reach hidden pests.

  • The insecticide causes a “hidden knock-down” effect. After ingestion or contact, pests become paralyzed and die in about 3–4 days, preventing further plant damage.

Target Pests & Crops

Primary Pests Controlled:

  • Diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) especially in mustard greens, cabbage, choy sum, broccoli, cauliflower, and other brassicas syngenta.com.mytanagro.com.myagroduka.ke.

  • Also effective against thrips, mites, whiteflies, jassids (leafhoppers), and aphids, particularly in ornamental plants like roses and vegetables such as French beans.
