Definition

Plenum 50 WG is a systemic water-dispersible granule (WG) insecticide produced by Syngenta. It contains 50% w/w pymetrozine, a chemical from the pyridine-azomethines derivative group (IRAC Group 9B).

It acts by blocking the feeding channel in sucking pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, and whiteflies, preventing them from feeding and causing death within 1–4 days depending on the pest’s life stage
